CISCO Networking Academy

AISCO Networking Academy was inaugurated the Fall of 1999 in United Independent School District. CISCO  is taught as an innovative course approved by the Texas Education Agency and is called Internetworking Technologies I and II.

CISCO is taught by at the Academy of Global Business and Advanced Technologies.

CISCO became a Tech Prep program in May of 2001.  Through Tech Prep, CISCO students have the opportunity to receive 16 hours of college credit if they enroll in the follow-up courses at Laredo Community College.  Several CISCO students have taken advantage of this opportunity and have started LCC with 16 college hours in escrow.
Elise Garza teaches CISCO at United High School and Enrique Alvarado teaches CISCO at United South High School.

Congratulations to Anita Costilla,  teacher at The Academy and is CISCO certified.
